The Mandolin Video series is intended to provide visitors to MandoZine with the opportunity to see and hear the wonderful instruments being built today. Follow the guidelines below for your submission.
- Record a short (about one minute) video session with your mandolin. State the year, make, and model, and play music that you think best represents the sound of the instrument. If you are not comfortable being on camera, or playing, get a friend to help. Try to feature the mando as close up as possible. Feel free to make a second video describing the instrument.
Note: This is not a talent contest. We are interested in seeing and hearing the instrument. - Send an email with a QuickTime file attached (max. size 2MB) to:
john@mandozine.com. Put "Mandolin Video Submission" as the subject.

Mail a miniDV tape to:

Note: the miniDV tape will be returned. Print your return address clearly.
- For QuickTime files, save at 240 x 180 for Web.
- Include your name and the instrument year, make, and model.
- Include your email address
- All submissions are subject to review and approval. If the video is unacceptable, we will contact you and make every effort to help in producing an acceptable version.
